On March 27, 2017, the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University - Mid-La Union Campus (DMMMSU-MLUC) headed by Chancellor
and Lt. Col. Paulito C. Nisperos hosted the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) where the selected students of
Reserved Officers Training Corps (ROTC) of MLUC and South La Union Campus (SLUC) underwent various examinations and assessments
under the temporary control of Col. Eduardo C. Tamondong. Theoretical examinations were conducted where a 50-item test were given to the twenty selected MS-2 Cadets during the inspection of
ranks. Moreover, a chosen 2nd class cadet after rank inspection delivered a particular method of instruction to the evaluators within one hour.
Also, as part of the evaluation process is the Operation Order (OPORD) writing where it helps other subordinate units of the military units and
it is one of the basis in choosing the Best Corps Commander of 1RCDG, ARESCOM. Oral and demonstration exercises were also conducted
regarding military courtesy and discipline. Randomly selected, 20 MS-2 cadets were chosen to perform the given task or scenario. On the tactical aspect, company drills were executed. The organization was composed of company commander, executive officer, guidon
bearer, company sergeant, two platoon leaders, two platoon sergeants and four squads with wooden rifles. Also, the best bet was chosen to
perform the field stripping. A second class cadets should assemble and disband the Pistol Cal .45 and Rifle Cal. 5.56mm M16A1. Map reading
was also initiated by an MS-32 and MS-2 cadets. Furthermore, the best bets were chosen to perform Troop Leading Procedure (TLP) and
Immediate Action Drills (IAD). Another set of oral and demonstration exercises were done regarding DDRO. Capt. Loida M. Faller, the Campus National Service Training Program (NSTP) Head said that the announcement of the results will be
released after the tactical inspection and evaluation of the Lingayen and Bayambang campus of Pangasinan State University (PSU).
