H. Villegas, Press Relation Officer; Ydlaz Hendry S. Garcia, Supreme Governor together with their CSBO Adviser Prof. Ma. Concepcion Feraren.
Maria Leonor Robredo, Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines was the keynote speaker of the event and gave her message on the theme,
“Relevance of SDG’s and the Journey toward Uplifting the Filipino Communities especially those in the Periphery. The event conducted two plenary
sessions where in three panel topics where delivered from each session. Speaker of the sessions were prominent personalities in the field of
leadership namely: Mr. Klaus Beck, United Nations Population Fund Philippines Country Representative; Hon. Paul Richard Paraguya, National
Anti-Poverty Commission NGO Sectoral Representative; U n d e r s e c r e t a r y Rosemarie Edillon, National Economic and Development Authority
Deputy Director-General for Policy and Planning; Ms. Glenda Simon, Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park Information, Education and Communication
Officer; Mr. Naderev Sano, Greenpeace Southeast Executive Director; Hon. Jed Patrick Mabilog, Mayor of the City of Iloilo. The PITYLC is open to
student government and campus organization leaders, student publication leaders, and community youth leaders. The said event is guided with the
theme, “SDG’s: A Transformative Journey Towards a Better Nation, A Better World by 2030”.
